At ARSS of Illinois Inc., we are committed to selling only USDA-eligible food items through our online store. We do not sell or offer any non-food products, household goods, supplements, or prepared meals.
This policy ensures that our store complies fully with all federal requirements under the USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) SNAP Online Purchasing Program.
Eligible Food Products Only
Our online store sells one category of food item only:
Pure Grass-Fed Ghee (Clarified Butter)
A shelf-stable, dairy-based, cooking-grade food.
This product qualifies as a staple food item under SNAP guidelines.
No Non-Food Items
We do not sell:
- Household or personal care items
- Cleaning supplies
- Cosmetics or fragrances
- Vitamins or supplements
- Hot foods or prepared meals
- Alcohol, tobacco, or restricted items
Our website is dedicated exclusively to food items eligible for home consumption.
Shelf-Stable Packaged Food
All products sold by ARSS of Illinois Inc. are:
- Pre-packaged
- Shelf-stable
- Safe for home storage
- Not temperature-sensitive
- Not cooked, prepared, or ready-to-eat meals
No refrigeration or freezing is required during shipping or storage.
SNAP/EBT Compliance
Once EBT/SNAP payments are enabled, the following rules apply:
- SNAP benefits may only be used for eligible food products
- SNAP benefits cannot be used for shipping or delivery fees
- SNAP refunds apply only to eligible food items
- Non-food items (if ever added in the future) will not be purchasable using SNAP
